Going nuts for miniatures

This post was created over 5 or more years ago. Content may be outdated or broken.

A world of tiny wonders – this is what I discovered with miniatures. Every day I find something that awakens the dreamer in me and fills me with joy. There are some amazing people out there, creating beautiful tiny worlds. Seeing them, I just couldn’t resist the inspiration to make more miniatures on my own. Making them is a pleasure, and sharing them makes me happy.

I decided to stick with the 1:12 scale, which seems to be one of the most popular scales for dollhouse miniatures. I make my miniatures by hand, and try to make them as true to scale and as realistic as possible. The only exception so far is Nutley (featured image above), who is obviously not a miniature of a real squirrel, but he’s overly cute nonetheless.

Some more of my minis:

I started a Facebook page to keep track of my miniature creations and to share them with friends and miniature fans.
